Method

Preparation

1

Cook the Jasmine Rice

Rinse the Jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a medium pot, combine 1 cup of rinsed rice with 1.5 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for an additional 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork and set aside.

2

Prepare the Scallions

Wash and finely chop the scallions, separating the white parts from the green parts.

3

Prepare the Wagyu Beef

Cut the Wagyu beef into small bite-sized pieces. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

4

Scramble the Eggs

In a bowl, beat the three large eggs with a pinch of salt. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Pour in the eggs and scramble until just set. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Cooking

5

Cook the Wagyu Beef

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the Wagyu beef pieces and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.

6

Stir-Fry the Rice

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the white parts of the scallions and stir-fry for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then, add the cooked Jasmine rice and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the rice is heated through and slightly crispy.

7

Combine Ingredients

Return the scrambled eggs and cooked Wagyu beef to the skillet with the rice. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil. Mix everything together well, ensuring all ingredients are evenly distributed. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes.

8

Garnish and Serve

Remove the fried rice from the heat. Top with the green parts of the scallions. Serve immediately.
