Method

For the Chicken

1

Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and place in a mixing bowl.

2

Season the Chicken

Add salt, black pepper, soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar to the chicken. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.

3

Coat with Cornstarch

Sprinkle cornstarch over the marinated chicken and toss until all pieces are well coated.

4

Heat the Oil

In a large frying pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

5

Fry the Chicken

Add the coated chicken pieces to the hot oil in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

6

Add Flavor

In the same pan, add minced garlic and dried orange peel. Stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.

7

Combine

Return the fried chicken to the pan and toss to coat with the garlic and orange peel mixture. Fry for an additional 2 minutes.

For the Yogurt Sauce

8

Mix the Yogurt Sauce

In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, finely chopped Chinese celery, cilantro, sesame oil, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well until smooth.

9

Serve

Serve the crispy orange peel chicken hot, accompanied by the cilantro yogurt sauce on the side.
