Preparation
Prepare the Vegetables
Wash and chop the broccoli into small florets. Peel the heirloom carrots and slice them thinly. Trim the ends of the haricot vert and cut them into 1-inch pieces.
Cook the Rice
If you haven't already, cook the jasmine rice according to package instructions. Allow it to cool slightly before frying.
Cooking
Stir-Fry the Vegetables
In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the Haricot Vert
Add the haricot vert to the skillet and continue to stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Combine Rice and Sauce
Add the cooked jasmine rice to the skillet along with the soy sauce and the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil. Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
Finish Cooking
Stir-fry the mixture for another 3-4 minutes, allowing the rice to heat through and absorb the flavors.
Serving
Garnish and Serve
Remove the skillet from heat. Serve the fried rice in bowls, garnished with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
