Method

Preparation of Crab

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crab Meat

Carefully remove the Dungeness crab meat from the shells, ensuring no shell fragments are left. Place the crab meat in a bowl and set aside.

Garlic Butter Sauce

  1. 2

    Make Garlic Butter Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Stir in the chopped parsley, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes, then remove from heat.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 3

    Combine Crab and Sauce

In a large mixing bowl, pour the garlic butter sauce over the prepared crab meat. Gently mix to ensure the crab meat is well-coated with the sauce.

Roasting

  1. 4

    Roast the Crab

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread the crab and sauce mixture evenly in a baking dish. Roast in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until heated through and slightly golden on top.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve the Dish

Remove the crab from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Serve hot with lemon wedges and fresh parsley sprigs for garnish.
