Cleanse & Exfoliation

Finish & Protection

Method

Preparation & Tools

  1. 1

    Consultation & Patch Test

Begin with a brief consultation to confirm skin history, recent treatments, allergies, and contraindications to chemical peels. Perform a small patch test for the peel on an inconspicuous area (behind the ear or along the jawline) at least 10–15 minutes before the full treatment if the client has sensitive skin or is new to peels.

  2. 2

Set up tools: warm two clean towels (1–2 pcs) and prepare steam device. Place cotton pads, gauze squares, spatula/brush, gloves and extraction tool (if needed) within reach. Start the timer and ensure a comfortable treatment bed and lighting.

Cleanse & Exfoliation

  1. 3

    Double Cleanse

Apply 30 ml gentle cream cleanser to dry skin using a spatula/brush. Emulsify with water and gently massage for 60–90 seconds to remove makeup, sunscreen and surface oils. Remove with warm wet cotton pads or a warm towel (use 1 warmed towel). Repeat lightly if needed until the skin is visibly clean.

  2. 4

    Enzymatic Exfoliation

Apply 10 ml enzymatic exfoliant in a thin, even layer using the brush or spatula. Avoid eye area. Allow to sit 3–6 minutes (monitor client comfort). If using the optional micro-polish (5 g), perform a gentle two-minute circular buff focusing on T-zone and rough patches before removing. Remove enzyme/exfoliant with cool/warm damp cotton pads and pat skin dry.

  3. 5

    Tone

Spritz or apply 10 ml hydrating toner on a cotton pad and sweep across the face to rebalance pH and prep skin for the peel. Allow skin to air-dry for 30–60 seconds.

Revealing Peel & Neutralization

  1. 6

    Patch Confirmation

Confirm no adverse reaction occurred at the patch site. Put on disposable gloves before applying the peel.

  2. 7

    Apply the Peel

Using the spatula or brush, apply 3 ml of the chemical peel in a thin, even layer across the face, avoiding the immediate eye and lip areas and any broken skin. Start timing immediately. Typical working time for a 15% glycolic/lactic peel is 2–6 minutes depending on skin sensitivity — begin with 2–3 minutes on sensitive or fair skin and up to 4–6 minutes for more tolerant skin. Continuously observe skin for excessive erythema, burning or swelling.

  3. 8

    Visual & Sensation Monitoring

Use the timer. Ask the client about sensations every minute. Mild tingling is normal; intense burning, stinging, or rapid spread of redness requires immediate neutralization and removal.

  4. 9

    Neutralize and Soothe

At the end of the appropriate time, apply 5 ml neutralizing solution or neutralizing wipes liberally to the treated area using gauze or cotton pads until fizzing/stinging subsides and the skin feels cool. Follow with cold compresses (2 cooled gauze pads) held to the face for 1–2 minutes to reduce inflammation. Remove any residue with damp cotton pads and pat skin dry.

Vitamin Cocktail & Serums

  1. 10

    Assess and Prepare

After neutralization and gentle drying, assess the skin. If extra redness is present, allow 3–5 minutes for calm before layering actives. Use a minimal amount if skin appears sensitized.

  2. 11

Layer Serums (Order: thinnest to thickest)

Apply serums by tapping motions: 2 ml Vitamin C serum first (avoid rubbing), then 1 ml panthenol (Vitamin B5) to soothe and hydrate, followed by 1 ml hyaluronic acid to lock moisture. If using the optional 1 ml peptide/antioxidant booster, apply it after Vitamin C. Use a gentle patting technique until each layer is absorbed (about 20–30 seconds per layer).

  3. 12

Do not over-mix incompatible actives; keep Vitamin C concentration moderate and ensure the client has tolerated Vitamin C previously. If client is very reactive, omit Vitamin C and focus on calming and hydrating serums.

Masks & Massage

  1. 13

Detox Clay (optional, for congested skin)

If the skin is congested, mix 10 g clay mask with minimal water or toner to form a smooth paste. Apply an even thin layer to the T-zone or full face as indicated using a spatula/brush. Sit under steam for up to 5–8 minutes while monitoring comfort. Clay should not fully harden; remove with warm damp cotton pads or towels when lightly firm.

  2. 14

    Hydrating Mask

Apply 25 ml hydrating cream mask or a sheet mask over the entire face. Leave on for 10–15 minutes. If using a sheet mask, smooth edges and recline quietly. Use this time to perform a light décolleté massage with 10 ml light massage cream or oil (avoid moving the sheet mask area).

  3. 15

    Massage

Remove mask with warm damp cotton pads. Using any remaining 10 ml massage cream, perform a targeted facial massage (5–7 minutes): effleurage along jawline, circular petrissage on cheeks (light-to-medium pressure), lifting strokes along cheekbones and forehead, and gentle circular movements around the brow and orbital bone. Avoid aggressive strokes on freshly peeled or fragile skin. If extractions are needed and the skin is appropriate, perform brief, precise extractions after steam and before peel — ensure sanitation and minimal trauma.

Finish & Protection

  1. 16

    Final Hydration

Apply 5 ml moisturizer with ceramides or barrier-repair ingredients using gentle downward and outward motions to seal hydration. Apply 1 ml eye cream using the ring finger with light tapping around orbital bone, avoiding direct lashline.

  2. 17

    Sun Protection & Lip Care

Finish with 2 ml broad-spectrum sunscreen applied evenly over the face, neck and any exposed areas. Apply 1 ml lip balm to protect the lips post-treatment. Explain to the client that sunscreen is essential for at least 7–14 days following a peel and that they should avoid prolonged sun exposure.

  3. 18

Give the client post-care instructions verbally and in writing: avoid hot baths/saunas and aggressive scrubs for 5–7 days, use gentle cleanser and hydrating products, apply sunscreen daily, and contact the clinic if excessive redness, blistering, or prolonged irritation occurs.
