Pre‑cleanse & Cleanse

Steam, Extraction & Mask Prep

Method

Pre‑cleanse & Cleanse

  1. 1

    Pre‑cleanse (makeup/oil removal)

Warm 10 ml organic micellar cleansing oil between gloved hands. Apply to dry face, massaging gently in circular motions for 60–90 seconds focusing on eyes, lips and T‑zone to dissolve makeup and surface oil. Remove with 2 damp cotton pads, working from center outward.

  2. 2

    Second cleanse

Apply 10 ml organic gentle cream cleanser to slightly damp face. Massage for 45–60 seconds with light upward strokes to cleanse pores without stripping. Rinse thoroughly with 100 ml warm water and pat skin gently with a clean towel.

Exfoliation

  1. 3

    Enzymatic exfoliation

Measure 5 g enzymatic exfoliant into the mixing bowl. If product is a powder, add 2–3 ml water to create a smooth paste. Apply an even layer to the face avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 5–8 minutes (follow product instructions and client's sensitivity).

  2. 4

    Optional gentle physical exfoliant

If skin tolerates mechanical exfoliation, take 5 g gentle physical exfoliant and apply with light circular motions for 30–45 seconds, concentrating on rough or congested areas. Do not over‑rub; stop if skin shows redness beyond mild flushing.

  3. 5

    Rinse after exfoliation

Remove the exfoliant thoroughly with a warm, damp towel or rinse with warm water. Pat skin dry. Proceed directly to steam/extraction if needed.

Steam, Extraction & Mask Prep

  1. 6

    Steam

Prepare steam with 200 ml distilled water. Apply a warm (not hot) towel to the face for 60–90 seconds or use a facial steamer for 3–5 minutes at a comfortable distance. The goal is to soften sebum and open pores — monitor client comfort closely.

  2. 7

    Extraction (if indicated)

With gloved hands and after steam, perform gentle manual extractions only where needed. Use cotton‑wrapped fingers or extraction tool and apply steady, gentle pressure; stop if skin becomes irritated. Limit extractions to 5–10 minutes total to avoid trauma.

  3. 8

    Mask application

Using the spatula, apply 20 g customized mask evenly across the face (avoid eye area). For hydrating treatment use a creamy mask; for congestion choose a gentle clay. Leave mask on for 8–12 minutes per product guidelines while monitoring skin response.

  4. 9

    Mask removal

Remove the mask with a damp towel and gentle circular motions, ensuring no residue remains. Pat skin dry with a clean towel.

Serums & Treatments

  1. 10

    Apply hydrating serum

Dispense 2 ml hydrating serum (hyaluronic acid) onto fingertips. If using a vitamin C booster, add 1 drop and mix briefly. Press serum into damp skin using light tapping motions (avoid dragging). Allow 60–90 seconds to absorb.

  2. 11

Cold therapy to depuff & soothe

Use a chilled jade roller or cold gua sha for 2–4 minutes to reduce inflammation and promote lymphatic drainage. Perform outward and upward strokes — under eyes outward toward the temple, along jawline and cheeks upward toward the hairline.

Tone, Moisturize & Protect

  1. 12

    Tone

Lightly mist or apply 5 ml alcohol‑free toner to rebalance pH and add immediate hydration. Pat into skin with palms or a single soft cotton pad.

  2. 13

    Moisturize and finish

Apply 0.5 g eye cream around orbital bone using ring finger with gentle patting motions. Smooth 5 g nourishing moisturizer onto face and neck with upward strokes. For very dry skin, warm 2 drops of face oil in the palms and press over moisturizer. Finish with 5 ml mineral SPF 30 applied evenly as the last step.

Cleanup & Aftercare Advice

  1. 14

Dispose of single‑use items, clean and sanitize reusable tools, and store leftover products according to manufacturer instructions. Advise the client to avoid strong actives (AHA/BHA/retinol) for 48 hours, use gentle cleanser, and apply sunscreen daily. Recommend a home regimen tailored to skin type and schedule follow‑up in 4–6 weeks if appropriate.
