Crepe Batter

Method

Making the Crepes

  1. 1

    Prepare the Batter

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. In another bowl, combine the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, whisking until smooth. Let the batter rest for 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Crepes

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the skillet, swirling to evenly coat the bottom. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges start to lift and the bottom is lightly golden. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Repeat with the remaining batter.

  3. 3

    Serve

Fill crepes with your choice of filling such as fresh fruits, whipped cream, Nutella, or savory ingredients like cheese and ham. Fold or roll the crepes and serve immediately.
