Prepare the Shrimp
Ensure that the shrimp are fully peeled and deveined. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a shallow bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well.

Bread the Shrimp

Coat the Shrimp
Dip each shrimp into the dry mixture, ensuring it is fully coated. Then dip into the wet mixture, and return to the dry mixture for a second coating.
Frying

Heat the Oil
In a large frying pan or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Shrimp
Carefully add the breaded shrimp to the hot oil, cooking in batches if necessary. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

Drain and Cool
Remove the shrimp from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
