Preparation

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients and prepare them as follows: halve the potatoes, cut the corn into thirds, and cut the lemons into wedges. Ensure the shrimp are peeled and deveined.

Cooking

2

Boil the Water

In a large pot, add 4 quarts of water along with 2 tablespoons of salt, 1 tablespoon of Old Bay seasoning, crushed garlic cloves, and bay leaves. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil over high heat.

3

Cook the Potatoes

Once the water is boiling, add the halved red potatoes to the pot. Cook for about 10 minutes or until they are slightly tender.

4

Add Corn and Crab

After the potatoes have cooked for 10 minutes, add the corn on the cob and the Dungeness crab to the pot. Continue to boil for another 5-7 minutes.

5

Add Shrimp

Finally, add the shrimp to the pot and boil for an additional 3-5 minutes until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.

6

Drain and Serve

Turn off the heat and carefully drain the contents of the pot into a large colander. Transfer the seafood and vegetables to a serving platter, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top, and serve immediately with additional lemon wedges on the side.
