Preparation

Preparation

1. Cook the Bacon

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sliced bacon until crispy. Once cooked, remove from skillet and place on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

2. Sauté the Onion

In the same skillet with the bacon drippings, add the medium onion (chopped) and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

3. Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the sautéed onions, cooked bacon (chopped), Boston baked beans, brown sugar, yellow mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Cooking

4. Add Lager Beer

Pour the lager beer into the mixing bowl with the other ingredients and stir gently to combine.

5. Bake the Mixture

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes, or until bubbly and slightly caramelized on top.

Garnishing

6. Garnish the Dish

Once out of the oven, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and sliced jalapeños for an added kick. Serve warm.
