Method
Brewing Tea

Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags from the saucepan. Discard the tea bags.
Sweetening the Tea

Add Sugar
While the tea is still warm, add 1 cup of granulated sugar to the brewed tea. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Chilling and Serving

Cool the Tea
Allow the sweet tea to cool to room temperature. If you're in a hurry, you can place it in the refrigerator for faster cooling.

Serve
Pour the sweet tea over ice in glasses. Optionally, garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves for added flavor.
