Method

Crust Preparation

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix well until the mixture resembles wet sand.

  2. 2

    Form the Crust

Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form an even crust. Use the back of a measuring cup or your fingers to ensure it’s compact.

  3. 3

    Bake the Crust

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the crust for 8-10 minutes or until it's lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.

Filling Preparation

  1. 4

    Beat Cream Cheese

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth using a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium speed.

  2. 5

    Add Sugars and Peanut Butter

Gradually add the confectioners' sugar and peanut butter to the cream cheese, mixing until fully combined and smooth.

  3. 6

    Fold in Cool Whip

Gently fold in the Cool Whip or whipped cream with a spatula until just combined. Be careful not to deflate the mixture.

  4. 7

    Add Vanilla

Stir in the vanilla extract until well mixed.

Assembly

  1. 8

    Fill the Crust

Pour the peanut butter filling into the cooled crust, smoothing it out with a spatula to ensure an even layer.

  2. 9

    Chill the Pie

Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.

  3. 10

    Add Toppings

Before serving, sprinkle chopped peanuts on top of the pie and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
