Preparing the Pork

Seasoning the Pork
In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Rub the mixture all over the pork shoulder.

Cooking the Pork
Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the meat is tender and easily shreds with a fork.

Mixing the Sauce
In a separate bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Mix well and set aside.
Assembling the Sandwiches

Shredding the Pork
Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.

Combining with Sauce
Mix the shredded pork with the prepared BBQ sauce until evenly coated.

Building the Sandwich
Toast the hamburger buns lightly. Place a generous amount of the pulled pork mixture on the bottom half of each bun. Top with coleslaw and pickles before placing the top half of the bun.
