Preparing the Ribs

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Season the Ribs
In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this mixture all over the pork ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Wrap the Ribs
Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil to lock in moisture.

Bake the Ribs
Place the wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and pulling away from the bone.
Making the BBQ Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a large saucepan, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, mustard, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and optional cayenne pepper.

Cook the Sauce
Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat to low and let it cook for about 20 minutes until thickened.
