Method

Preparation of Wings

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and olive oil until well coated.

Cooking the Wings

  1. 3

    Bake the Wings

Spread the seasoned wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the skin is crispy and the wings are cooked through.

Making the Backfire Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the hot sauce, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, honey, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.

Tossing the Wings

  1. 5

    Combine Wings and Sauce

Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the Backfire sauce over the wings and toss to coat thoroughly.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve the Wings

Serve the wings hot, with extra Backfire sauce on the side for dipping.
