Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Greens

In a large bowl, combine 4 cups of Little Leaf Farms' seasonal greens. These can include varieties such as arugula, spinach, or mixed greens, depending on what is available.

  2. 2

    Add Carrots

Take 1 cup of julienne carrots and add them to the bowl with the greens. Mix gently to combine.

  3. 3

    Incorporate Tomatoes

Halve or quarter 1 cup of baby tomatoes, depending on their size. Add them to the salad bowl.

  4. 4

    Add Croutons

Sprinkle 1 cup of croutons over the salad for added crunch.

  5. 5

    Dress the Salad

Choose one of the housemade dressings: 1 cup of balsamic vinaigrette, buttermilk herb dressing, chunky bleu cheese dressing, or 1/2 cup of California cold pressed extra-virgin olive oil and 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
