Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Clean and dry the chicken wings. Remove the stems and seeds from the jalapenos, then finely chop them.
- 2
Make the Coating
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- 3
Coat the Wings
Dredge the chicken wings in the flour mixture until fully coated. Shake off any excess flour.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).
- 5
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the coated wings to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 6
Add Jalapenos
In the last 2 minutes of frying, add the chopped jalapenos to the oil to fry them until slightly crispy.
- 7
Drain and Serve
Remove the wings and jalapenos from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with house ranch dressing.
