Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sauce

In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, carrot, and celery, and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook for an additional minute.

  2. 2

    Cook the Meat

Add ground beef to the pan, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

  3. 3

    Add Tomatoes and Seasoning

Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, red wine, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and let it cook for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. 4

    Cook the Spaghetti

While the sauce simmers, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  5. 5

    Combine and Serve

Toss the cooked spaghetti with the Bolognese sauce. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
