Method
Preparing the Spread
Whip the Cream Cheese
In a medium bowl, use a hand mixer to beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Add Smoked Salmon
Chop the smoked salmon into small pieces and fold it into the whipped cream cheese.
Mix in Dill and Lemon Juice
Chop the fresh dill and add it along with the lemon juice to the cream cheese mixture. Stir until fully combined.
Prepare the Cucumber
Wash the cucumber and slice it thinly. These slices will be used as a garnish.
Making the Crostini
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Slice the Baguette
Cut the baguette into 1/2 inch slices diagonally.
Brush with Olive Oil
Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush one side with olive oil.
Toast the Crostini
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serving the Dish
Assemble the Spread
Spread a generous amount of the smoked salmon mixture onto each toasted crostini.
Serve
Arrange the crostini on a serving platter and enjoy as an appetizer or snack.
