Method

Prepare Cheese Crust

  1. 1

    Make the Cheese Mixture

In a bowl, combine shredded cheddar, mozzarella, and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well and set aside.

  2. 2

    Bake the Cheese Crust

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread the cheese mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, forming a rectangle. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Allow to cool slightly, then cut into 4 pieces to fit the sliders.

Cook Bacon and Onions

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the applewood smoked bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.

  2. 4

    Caramelize the Onions

In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the thinly sliced onions and sauté over medium-low heat until they are soft and caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.

Prepare Caramelized Onion Dip

  1. 5

    Mix the Dip

In a bowl, mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and the caramelized onions. Stir until well combined.

Assemble Sliders

  1. 6

    Build the Sliders

Slice the King's Hawaiian pretzel buns in half. On the bottom half of each bun, place a piece of the crispy cheese crust, followed by a slice of bacon, a generous spoonful of caramelized onion dip, and a handful of shaved pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
