Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Baguette

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet.

  2. 2

    Toast the Baguette

Brush each slice lightly with extra virgin olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Tomatoes

While the baguette is toasting, chop the fresh tomatoes into small cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.

  4. 4

    Season the Tomatoes

Add salt, black pepper, and the remaining extra virgin olive oil to the tomatoes. Gently mix to combine.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Bruschetta

Once the baguette slices are toasted, remove them from the oven. Spoon the seasoned tomato mixture onto each slice.

  6. 6

    Add Burrata and Basil

Tear the burrata cheese into small pieces and place them on top of the tomatoes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.

  7. 7

    Drizzle with Balsamic Glaze

Finally, drizzle the balsamic glaze over the bruschetta just before serving for added flavor.
