Pork Chop

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Pork Chop

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, fresh rosemary, and lemon juice. Mix well to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Apply Marinade

Rub the marinade generously onto both sides of the pork chop. Place the pork chop in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for best flavor.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F or 190°C to 200°C).

  2. 4

    Grill the Pork Chop

Remove the pork chop from the marinade and allow any excess marinade to drip off. Place the pork chop on the hot grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side.

  3. 5

    Flip and Continue Cooking

Flip the pork chop and grill for an additional 6-7 minutes on the other side, or until an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) is reached.

  4. 6

    Rest the Chop

Once cooked, remove the pork chop from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute for a more flavorful chop.
