Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Shrimp

Carefully peel and devein the Gulf shrimp, leaving the tails intact. Use a small knife to create a pocket in the back of each shrimp for stuffing.

Crab Imperial Stuffing

  1. 3

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, chopped parsley, and season with salt and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 4

    Stuff the Shrimp

Carefully stuff each shrimp pocket with the crab imperial mixture, pressing gently to ensure the stuffing holds.

Baking

  1. 5

    Arrange the Shrimp

Place the stuffed shrimp on a greased baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over the shrimp, and sprinkle paprika on top for added color.

  2. 6

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque, and the stuffing is golden brown.

  3. 7

    Add Butter

In the last 5 minutes of baking, dot the tops of the stuffed shrimp with butter to enhance flavor and richness.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve

Remove the baked stuffed shrimp from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
