Ingredients for Tunella Pinot Grigio
Method
Winemaking Process
- 1
Harvesting
Carefully handpick the Pinot Grigio grapes from the vineyard, ensuring they are ripe and free from rot.
- 2
Crushing
Crush the grapes gently to extract the juice while minimizing the skin contact to maintain a light color.
- 3
Pressing
Press the crushed grapes to separate the juice from the solids. Collect the juice in a fermentation vessel.
- 4
Fermentation
Add yeast to the grape juice and allow it to ferment at a controlled temperature of around 15-18°C for 2-3 weeks.
- 5
Stabilization
After fermentation, add sulfur dioxide to stabilize the wine and prevent oxidation.
- 6
Clarification
Let the wine settle and clarify naturally or use fining agents to help in the clarification process.
- 7
Bottling
Once clarified, bottle the wine in clean bottles and seal with corks. Allow it to age for a short period before releasing.
