Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Clean and slice the mushrooms. Chop the onions, tomatoes, and coriander leaves.

  2. 2

    Cook the Onions

In a large pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they become translucent.

  3. 3

    Add Ginger-Garlic Paste

Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Cook for about 2 minutes until the raw smell disappears.

  4. 4

    Add Tomatoes and Spices

Add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.

  5. 5

    Cook the Mushrooms

Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan. Stir well to combine with the spice mixture. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  6. 6

    Finish the Dish

Once the mushrooms are cooked and tender, sprinkle garam masala and chopped coriander leaves. Stir well and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve hot with porathas, rice, or raita.
