Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil. Add 1 tsp of salt to the boiling water.

Add 2 cups of pasta to the boiling water. Cook according to package directions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes.

Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander. Drizzle with 1 tbs of olive oil and toss gently to prevent sticking.

Sauté Garlic
Add 2 minced cloves of garlic to the oil and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the can of crushed tomatoes, 1 tsp of dried basil, 1 tsp of dried oregano, and 1 tsp of salt to the pan. Stir to combine.

Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Prepare the Fries
Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the frozen French fries package.

Spread the frozen fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake according to package instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes.
