BBQ Chicken Breast
Fries
Method
BBQ Chicken Breast
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).
- 2
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Coat the chicken breasts evenly with this mixture.
- 3
Grill the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts on the grill or in the oven. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Brush the BBQ sauce onto the chicken in the last 5 minutes of cooking.
- 4
Rest the Chicken
Once cooked, remove the chicken from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Fries
- 5
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to create fries.
- 6
Season the Fries
In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
- 7
Bake the Fries
Spread the seasoned fries evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- 8
Serve the Fries
Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving alongside the BBQ chicken.
