Crepe Batter

Method

Crepe Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Crepe Batter

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until the batter is smooth and free of lumps. Let the batter rest for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Crepes

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter. Pour a ladleful of crepe batter into the skillet, swirling it to evenly coat the bottom. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges begin to lift and the bottom is lightly golden. Flip and cook for an additional 1 minute. Remove and set aside. Repeat with the remaining batter.

  3. 3

    Fill and Serve

Spread a generous amount of Nutella on one half of each crepe. Fold the crepe over to cover the Nutella, then fold again to create a triangle. Place on a plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving.
