1. Prepare the Ingredients
If using chicken or beef, cook and slice it into thin strips. If using ground beef, cook and season it to taste.
2. Layer the Panchos
On a large serving platter, spread the tostada chips evenly. Top with warm refried beans, followed by your choice of cooked fajita chicken, beef, or seasoned ground beef.
3. Add Cheese
Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the top of the meat.
4. Broil
Place the platter under the broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
5. Garnish and Serve
Remove from the oven and top with shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, jalapeños, and guacamole. Serve immediately.
