Preparation Steps

1

Cook the Beef

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat.

2

Season the Beef

Add the taco seasoning to the cooked beef along with 2/3 cup of water. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens.

3

Prepare Taco Shells

While the beef is simmering, preheat the oven according to the taco shell package instructions. Arrange taco shells on a baking sheet and heat them in the oven for about 5 minutes.

4

Assemble the Tacos

Once the taco shells are warm, fill each shell with the seasoned beef mixture. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.

5

Serve

Serve the tacos hot, and enjoy with your choice of salsa or sour cream!
