Ingredients for Chicken Tenders
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breasts into strips, about 1 inch wide.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate bowls, place flour in the first bowl, beaten eggs in the second bowl, and bread crumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in the third bowl.
- 3
Bread the Chicken Strips
Dip each chicken strip first into the flour, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the bread crumb mixture. Ensure each piece is well-coated.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers. You can test if the oil is ready by dropping a small piece of bread into it; if it sizzles, the oil is ready.
- 5
Fry the Chicken Tenders
Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 6
Drain and Serve
Once cooked, remove the chicken tenders from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
