Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, mash the garlic cloves with a pinch of salt to create a paste. Mix in the olive oil, black pepper, and chopped parsley to form a marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Picanha

Rub the marinade all over the Angus picanha, ensuring it is well coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight for more flavor.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450-500°F or 230-260°C).

  4. 4

    Grill the Picanha

Remove the picanha from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Place it on the grill, fat side down, and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

  5. 5

    Rest and Serve

Once cooked, remove the picanha from the grill and let it rest for about 10 minutes. Slice against the grain and serve with additional parsley if desired.
