Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into 4 equally sized patties. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.

Bacon Purée Preparation

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

  2. 4

    Make the Purée

In a blender, combine the cooked bacon, cream, garlic, and olive oil. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

Salad Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Salad

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then season with salt and pepper. Toss gently to combine.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Burger

Spread a generous amount of bacon purée on the bottom half of the brioche bun. Place the cooked patty on top, followed by pickles and a dollop of Dijon mustard. Cap with the top half of the bun.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve the burger alongside the mixed green salad.
