Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook Meat Sauce
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes.

Prepare Cheese Mixture
In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley until well combined.

Cook Noodles
Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Assembling Lasagna

Layering
In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of meat sauce at the bottom. Place 4 noodles over the sauce, followed by a third of the cheese mixture and a third of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat this process two more times, ending with a layer of meat sauce topped with the remaining mozzarella cheese.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
