Prepare Black Bean Puree
In a blender or food processor, combine the black beans, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Mash Avocado
In a mixing bowl, scoop out the flesh of the avocados. Mash them with a fork until creamy. Season with salt and lime juice to taste.

Layer the Dip
In a large serving dish or platter, spread the black bean puree evenly on the bottom. Next, layer the mashed avocado over the black bean puree. Finally, spoon the tomatillo salsa on top of the avocado layer.

Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle the chopped cilantro over the top of the layered dip for garnish. Serve with tortilla chips on the side for dipping.
