Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tilapia

Rinse the tilapia fillets under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until the butter is melted and foamy.

  3. 3

    Cook the Tilapia

Add the seasoned tilapia fillets to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork. Remove the fish from the skillet and set aside.

  4. 4

    Make the Lemon Sauce

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the lemon juice and stir to combine. Allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes, reducing slightly.

  5. 5

    Combine and Serve

Return the cooked tilapia to the skillet, spooning the lemon sauce over the top. Let it heat through for about 1-2 minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
