Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Begin by preheating your broiler to high. While the broiler is heating, prepare the filet mignon and lobster tail.

  2. 2

    Season the Filet Mignon

Rub the filet mignon with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and season generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika on both sides.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Lobster Tail

Using kitchen shears, cut down the center of the lobster shell, stopping just before the tail. Gently pull the meat up and out while leaving it attached at the base.

  4. 4

    Season the Lobster Tail

Drizzle the lobster tail with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  5. 5

    Broil the Filet Mignon

Place the seasoned filet mignon on a broiler pan and broil for 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time based on your desired doneness.

  6. 6

    Broil the Lobster Tail

While the filet is broiling, place the lobster tail on a separate broiler pan, meat side up. Broil for about 6-8 minutes or until the meat is opaque and slightly browned.

  7. 7

    Finish and Serve

Once both the filet mignon and lobster tail are cooked to your liking, remove them from the broiler. Garnish the lobster with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
