Salmon Filets

Method

Preparation of the Salmon

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Salmon

Rinse the salmon filets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  3. 3

    Season the Salmon

Rub the salmon filets with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

Preparation of the Stuffing

  1. 4

    Sauté the Spinach and Garlic

In a skillet over medium heat, add a bit of olive oil and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. If using frozen spinach, ensure it’s thawed and drained.

  2. 5

    Mix the Stuffing

In a mixing bowl, combine the sautéed spinach and garlic with cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and dill. Mix until well combined.

Stuffing the Salmon

  1. 6

    Stuff the Salmon

Using a sharp knife, create a pocket in the thickest part of each salmon filet. Carefully fill each pocket with the prepared stuffing mixture, pressing gently to ensure it stays inside.

Baking the Salmon

  1. 7

    Bake the Salmon

Place the stuffed salmon filets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve

Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve warm, garnished with additional dill and lemon wedges if desired.
