Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

Carefully peel and devein the jumbo shrimp, leaving the tails intact. Make a slit along the back of each shrimp to create a pocket for stuffing. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Stuffing

In a mixing bowl, combine the crabmeat, bread crumbs, cream cheese, chopped green onion, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Stuffing and Broiling

  1. 3

    Stuff the Shrimp

Using a spoon, carefully fill each shrimp with the crabmeat stuffing. Ensure that each shrimp is generously filled but not overstuffed.

  2. 4

    Prepare for Broiling

Preheat the broiler in your oven. Place the stuffed shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 5

    Add Topping and Broil

Drizzle the stuffed shrimp with olive oil and sprinkle paprika over the tops. Broil for 6-8 minutes or until the shrimp are opaque and the stuffing is golden brown.
