Crabmeat Stuffing

Method

Preparation of Shrimp

  1. 1

    Clean the Shrimp

Rinse the jumbo shrimp under cold water, then peel and devein them, leaving the tails intact.

  2. 2

    Season the Shrimp

In a bowl, combine olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss the cleaned shrimp in the mixture until well coated.

Preparation of Crabmeat Stuffing

  1. 3

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, cream cheese, chopped green onions, minced garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, and hot sauce. Mix until well combined.

  2. 4

    Stuff the Shrimp

Take a spoonful of the crabmeat stuffing and carefully fill each shrimp with the mixture, ensuring not to overstuff.

Broiling

  1. 5

    Preheat the Broiler

    Preheat your broiler to high.

  2. 6

    Arrange the Shrimp

Place the stuffed shrimp on a broiler-safe pan and arrange them in a single layer.

  3. 7

    Broil

Broil the shrimp for 4-6 minutes, or until the shrimp are opaque and the stuffing is golden brown. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve

Remove the shrimp from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Serve warm with additional lemon wedges and hot sauce on the side, if desired.
