Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Shrimp

In a bowl, combine the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the fajita seasoning. Mix well to coat the shrimp evenly. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare Vegetables

While the shrimp is marinating, slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook Shrimp

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until they are pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 4

    Sauté Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are tender and slightly charred.

  3. 5

    Combine and Heat Tortillas

Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables and stir to combine. Heat the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave until warm.

Serving

  1. 6

    Assemble Fajitas

To serve, place the shrimp and vegetable mixture onto a warm tortilla. Top with sour cream, guacamole, shredded cheese, and chopped cilantro. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top before rolling up the tortilla.
