Pork Chops

Sides (Choose 2)

Method

Preparing the Pork Chops

  1. 1

    Season the Pork Chops

Pat the center cut pork chops dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  3. 3

    Sear the Pork Chops

Add the pork chops to the hot skillet. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on one side until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Cook the Other Side

Flip the pork chops and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  5. 5

    Add Garlic Sauce

During the last minute of cooking, pour the garlic sauce over the pork chops and allow it to heat through.

  6. 6

    Rest the Pork Chops

Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Preparing the Sides

  1. 7

    Steamed Broccoli

In a pot with a steamer basket, add a few cups of water and bring to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and steam for 5-7 minutes until tender.

  2. 8

    Mashed Potatoes

Peel and chop potatoes, boil them in salted water until tender (about 15-20 minutes). Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper to taste.

  3. 9

    Roasted Carrots

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice carrots, toss them with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and roast for 20-25 minutes until tender.

  4. 10

    Caesar Salad

Toss romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing, croutons, and parmesan cheese to taste in a bowl.
