Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Proteins

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken, skirt steak, and shrimp to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prep the Vegetables

Slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips. Set aside.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook the Chicken

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a splash of olive oil. Once hot, add the marinated chicken breast and cook for about 6-8 minutes until fully cooked and browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  2. 4

    Cook the Steak

In the same skillet, add another splash of olive oil if needed. Cook the marinated steak for about 4-6 minutes until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove and set aside.

  3. 5

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet, cooking for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  4. 6

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic, sliced bell peppers, and onion. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Assemble the Fajitas

Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave. Layer the cooked chicken, steak, shrimp, and sautéed vegetables onto each tortilla. Top with chopped cilantro, sour cream, and salsa.

  2. 8

    Serve

Fold the tortillas over the filling and serve immediately while warm. Enjoy your Combo Fajitas!
