Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Form the Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine the certified Angus beef with salt and black pepper. Gently mix until just combined. Shape the mixture into a burger patty about 3/4 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the burger patty on the grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium doneness. Adjust cooking time based on your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Bun

While the burger is cooking, lightly toast the burger bun on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 4

    Add Toppings

Once the burger is cooked to your preference, place the patty on the bottom half of the toasted bun. Top with a leaf of lettuce, a slice of tomato, and two slices of onion.

  2. 5

    Serve with Spicy Mayo

Spread the spicy mayo on the top half of the bun or serve it on the side for dipping. Close the burger with the top bun and serve immediately.
