Lobster Tail

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster Tail

Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut down the top shell of the lobster tail, stopping just before the tail fan. Gently lift the lobster meat from the shell, keeping it attached at the base, and lay it on top of the shell.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Broiler

Set your oven's broiler to high and allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Make the Garlic Butter Mixture

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in paprika, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

  4. 4

    Brush the Lobster Tail

Using a brush, generously coat the lobster meat with the garlic butter mixture. Reserve some of the mixture for basting during broiling.

  5. 5

    Broil the Lobster Tail

Place the lobster tail on a broiler-safe pan and broil for about 8-10 minutes, basting with the reserved garlic butter every 2-3 minutes, until the meat is opaque and the top is slightly browned.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the lobster tail from the oven. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
