Prepare the Edamame
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the edamame pods and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.

Melt the Butter
In a wok or large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add Garlic and Spices
Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.

Season
Pour the soy sauce over the edamame and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the edamame to absorb the flavors.

Finish with Sesame Oil
Drizzle the sesame oil over the edamame and give it a final toss to combine all ingredients.
