Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lychee

If using fresh lychee, peel and pit the fruit, ensuring to remove any seeds. If using canned lychee, simply drain the syrup and set the lychee aside.

  2. 2

    Gather Ingredients

Collect all ingredients including vodka, Hanjan soju, lychee pieces, and lychee syrup if applicable.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Combine Spirits

In a cocktail shaker, pour in the vodka and Hanjan soju. If using canned lychee, add the lychee syrup as well.

  2. 4

    Add Lychee

Add the lychee pieces to the shaker. If you like, you can lightly muddle the lychee to release some of their juices.

  3. 5

    Shake

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

Serving

  1. 6

    Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. You can use a fine mesh strainer to catch any bits of lychee.

  2. 7

    Garnish

Garnish with fresh mint leaves and place a whole lychee fruit on the rim of the glass for an elegant touch.

  3. 8

    Enjoy

Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Kyoto Litchi cocktail!
