Preparation Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Prime Rib
Season the prime rib with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. For grilled prime rib, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. For blackened prime rib, heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Sear the prime rib on all sides until a crust forms, then cook to your desired doneness (approximately 15-20 minutes for medium-rare).
- 2
Rest the Meat
Once cooked, remove the prime rib from the heat and let it rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
- 3
Prepare the Salad
In a large salad bowl, combine the salad mix, diced tomato, sliced onion, and cucumber. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
- 4
Assemble the Salad
Slice the rested prime rib thinly and place it on top of the salad. Sprinkle with cheese and croutons before serving.
