Mojito Directions
- 1
Muddle the mint and lime
In a sturdy glass, add the fresh mint leaves and the lime cut into wedges. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press down on the mint leaves and lime to release the juices and essential oils. Be careful not to shred the mint leaves too much.
- 2
Add sugar
Sprinkle the granulated sugar over the muddled mint and lime mixture. Use the muddler to mix everything together, ensuring the sugar dissolves with the lime juice.
- 3
- 4
Add ice
Fill the glass with ice cubes, leaving some space at the top for the soda water.
- 5
Top with soda water
Pour soda water over the ice and rum mixture, filling the glass to the top. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients without losing the fizz.
- 6
Garnish and serve
Garnish your mojito with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wedge on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately for a refreshing experience.
