Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Edamame

Rinse the edamame pods under cold water and drain them. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Char the Edamame

Place the edamame pods on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are charred and heated through.

  3. 3

    Sauté Shallots

In a small pan, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the chopped shallots and sauté until they are translucent and slightly caramelized, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Combine and Season

In a large bowl, combine the charred edamame, sautéed shallots, and salt. Squeeze the juice of the lime over the mixture and toss well to combine.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve warm as a snack or appetizer.
